Top Ten | August 2011 - Blazing Hot Summer Anthems

Hey there disco boys and girls-

How's the weather out there?  Oof.  In most places around the country, it has been scorching hot this summer.  (Right now, I'm burning up in Dallas).  Luckily, the blistering hot music has been matching the record temperatures.  Below are the bangers I've been playing for the past month.  Whether they're hot late night anthems or happy T-dance tracks, they're sure to drive the temperature up on any dancefloor.

Top Ten | April 2011 - Here Come The Anthems!

Hey there disco boys and girls-

Well, it's happening - the time where songs start to emerge that you'll be singing all year long.  One after one, you begin to hear the same uplifting, powerful, hands-in-the-air tracks when you go out.  Each time you're with your friends and that big vocal hits, you fall in love a little bit more.  And before you know it, you have an anthem. 

It happens this time every year (Acapella, When Love Takes Over, and Happiness all dropped around this time in recent years) and 2011 is no exception.   I think these are songs you will be hearing all year long, a few of which are even from people I consider friends and talented colleagues.  Without further ado, I bring you...
